Photography
I fell in love with photography upon the birth of my son, Jack. I hoped to document his life, but capturing his emotions and personality quickly became a passion. Taking pictures of other people helped me to realize I was eager to learn more about the art of photography. After one class at a local community college, I was hooked. The seeds of photography brought about by the birth of Jack soon blossomed into a degree in photography. Being a mother and capturing the emotions and personalities of people is now my career, my life.

Before Photography
Prior to my promotion to motherhood, I served as a Vice-President for Management Options, Inc., a full service association management company in Washington, DC. In this capacity, I oversaw membership, event planning, public relations and marketing departments for the company. I traveled frequently as a representative of various trade associations and still love to travel.
Before joining Management Options, I was a middle school teacher in Howard County Maryland and a varsity women’s lacrosse coach. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland-Baltimore County where I attended on scholarship to play lacrosse. Apart from a four year stay in Germany, I am a lifelong resident of Maryland.
Life with Photography
Life never has a dull moment. Besides sharing a house with a very active 4 year old, we also have a rescue dog—Cheyenne. If that isn’t enough, I have also completed twelve marathons and one triathlon and have set a goal to complete a marathon in each of the 50 states as well as the District of Columbia.
